Hallam Sinfonia performs in a variety of settings as a full symphony orchestra as well as chamber orchestra and ensembles throughout the year, regularly collaborating with other Sheffield ensembles.

Combining the sombre and hopeful, this programme will feature Tchaikovsky's symphony no. 6 ("Pathetique"), Strauss's Death and Transfiguration, and a new commission ("Piece for a Dark Place") by Sheffield composer Chris Noble.
