About the event

Whether you want to kick off your Coronation weekend in style, or simply celebrate on a Friday night, join Hallam Sinfonia for a joyous concert with music inspired by dance.

We are so excited to welcome back the fantastically talented and inspiring Natalia Luis-Bassa, who was our principal conductor for over 10 years. Her dynamism and passion will guide us through a programme of music designed to get your toes tapping. We're contrasting the pizzazz of Marquez, the rich textures of Rachmaninoff and the stately grandeur of Britten in this varied programme. And we might even have room at the end for a little celebratory encore to see us off into the weekend!
