Passenger Seats is back! Sit amongst the orchestra during performances of music relating to the natural world, including Vaughan Williams' "The Lark Ascending". Conducted by George Morton and featuring our fantastic leader Hannah Thompson-Smith as soloist.

About the event
Passenger Seats is back! After a gap of four years, Hallam Sinfonia once again offer you the chance to sit amongst the orchestra during the performance - this time for works all related to the natural world.
One of the orchestra's most popular events since 2015, audience members can experience what it feels like to hear music from the orchestra's point of view. The natural world theme gives opportunities to hear a great mixture of music, including some very popular items - such as Vaughan Williams' The Lark Ascending, regularly voted the country's favourite classical piece.
This is for a 3.00pm performance that will be shorter than the evening performance (lasting under an hour), and aimed particularly at a younger audience (ideal for primary school-aged children). To see the full performance at 7.00pm click here.
